Working Seamlessly with your Practice

Equip patients with engaging pain management materials

We strive to keep things simple for you, your patient and your practice.

A growing consensus supports the importance of coordinated multi/interdisciplinary management strategies to address chronic pain.Ÿ This approach requires coordinated interdisciplinary assessment and management involving, at a minimum, physical, psychological, and social/environmental factors in each patient.

What we offer

  • Program access within 2 weeks for your patients

  • Initial case review consultation for every patient

  • An interdisciplinary approach to pain management, coordinating input from allied health professionals and a client's own GP

  • A high level of coordination support, taking the administrative burden off clinicians and their practices.

  • Listing in our provider directory (clients can search this for providers when enacting their pain management plan).

  • Transparency in our fee structure - We explicitly state to our clients that program fees do not cover ongoing treatment and that there may be additional provider charges relating to clinical assessments. Additionally, we inform them that they may need to pay the provider directly at the time of treatment/assessment and then submit their Medicare claims (if applicable) directly to Medicare.

What we need from you

As a treating clinician

  • A willingness to work with clients referencing their pain management plan

  • To work with clients to evolve their treatment plan through time as their needs change and promote active self-management.

As an assessing clinician

  • Assess clients in line with the Pain Education and Management guidelines (refer to Pain Australias Fact Sheet

  • Attend the client case conference and provide input to the client's pain management plan.

We will document everything, provide case conference notes and draft an individualised pain management plan for your patient based on the case conference.
